We’re a Park City design studio, and our crews look after lawns and gardens across Summit, Wasatch, and Salt Lake counties. We know the properties because, on many of them, we drew the design and set the planting ourselves.
Most landscape firms hand off the property when the install is done. We don’t. The crew that builds a Prime property is the crew that returns to it — week after week, season after season — to keep it looking the way it did the day it was finished.
That’s what we mean by lawn and garden care: the good neighbor with the equipment, the experience, and the obligation to be there. One team. Every season.
What's Included
Lawn and garden care covers the recurring work that holds a property together. Depending on the plan and the property, that includes:
Mowing and edging
Cut to the right height for the season, edges kept clean
Bed maintenance
Weeding, mulching, and keeping the planting lines crisp
Pruning and shaping
Shrubs, ornamentals, and perennials kept in form
Fertilization and soil care
Feeding programs matched to the lawn and the altitude
Seasonal cleanups
Spring start-up and fall preparation (see Spring/Fall Cleanup)
Irrigation monitoring
Start-up, adjustment, and blow-out across the season
Plant health checks
Catching stress, pests, or drainage issues early

What Stewardship Looks Like Across the Year
A property in this climate asks for something different in every season. We read it continuously, not just the week of a visit.
Spring. Cleanup, cutback, and the first feed. We clear what winter left behind, cut back perennials, edge the beds, start up and test the irrigation, and get the lawn moving as the season turns.
Summer. Mowing, growth management, and water. Regular cuts on the right height for the season, pruning and shaping as plants push, bed care, and irrigation adjusted to the day’s conditions rather than a fixed clock.
Fall. Preparation for what’s coming. Leaf and debris cleanup, the final cuts, perennial cutback, irrigation blow-out before the freeze, and the work that decides how well the property comes through winter.
Winter. Presence. The plantings are dormant, but the property is not unattended — and for the homes we look after, our snow crews are already on call. (See Snow & Ice Removal.)

The best proof of stewardship is a property that looks as considered in its fifth year as it did at the reveal. Our portfolio shows properties we have looked after across multiple seasons — the way a planting plan matures, the way a lawn fills in, and the way the design holds together because the people who built it never left.
Each project includes the site, the work we do on it now, and how long it has been under our care.
Lawn Care Plans
Most properties we look after are on a year-round plan rather than one-off visits. A plan means the same crew, on a known schedule, who already understands the property — its drainage, its microclimates, and what each planting needs to thrive.
We scope a plan to the property and how you use it, not to a fixed package. The result is continuity: nobody re-learning the site every visit, and small problems caught before they become expensive ones. Talk to us about what level of care a particular property needs.
Where We Work
Park City, Heber, Midway, Salt Lake County, Summit County, Wasatch County, and select properties across the Wasatch Front. The terrain on either side of the divide is different — different sun, different drainage, different growing conditions — and the care changes with it.
The studio is built for one region, and the crews know it intimately.
Looking After the Property You've Already Built
You don’t have to have built with Prime for us to look after your property. We take on stewardship of established landscapes across the Wasatch Front — though it starts the same way every Prime relationship does, by reading the property first.
We walk the site, learn its drainage and microclimates, see how the plantings are holding, and build a care plan around what’s actually there. From that point on, you have one team that knows the property and shows up across every season — the same continuity our design-build clients rely on.
