We’re a Park City design studio, and we run our own trucking across Summit, Wasatch, and Salt Lake counties — the logistics behind 20+ years of builds on the Wasatch Front, where access and timing are half the job.
Trucking is the part of a build that’s invisible when it works and impossible to ignore when it doesn’t. The right material, in the right amount, arriving the day the crew needs it — and the debris gone before it’s in the way. On a mountain property with tight access and a short build season, that timing is everything.
Most landscape firms rely on outside haulers and wait on someone else’s schedule. We don’t. The trucks are ours, which means the material shows up when our crews are ready for it.

Why In-House Trucking Matters
When hauling is outsourced, it’s a hidden source of delay and cost — material that arrives late or in the wrong amount, debris that sits on site, and a crew standing idle waiting on a truck that belongs to someone else. Owning the trucks removes that risk.
Because the trucks are ours, the material arrives the day the crew is ready, in the volume the design calls for, and the debris leaves as fast as it’s generated. There’s no coordinating between the build schedule and an outside hauler’s, no markup on someone else’s delivery, and no idle crew waiting on a load. The logistics serve the build because the same studio controls both. It’s the same principle that runs through everything Prime does in-house: fewer seams, fewer delays, and one team accountable end to end.
How We Schedule a Build
Trucking is planned from the design, not improvised on site. Once a build is scoped, we know what material it needs, how much, and in what sequence — and the hauling is scheduled to match.
Material is staged to arrive as each stage of the build calls for it: base before hardscape, soil before planting, stone when the crew is ready to set it. Excavated spoil and demolition debris are hauled off as they’re generated, so the site stays clear and workable. On properties with tight access — common in the mountains — we plan loads and timing around what the site can actually take. Because the trucks, the crews, and the design are all under one roof, the schedule holds together instead of waiting on the weakest link.

Where We Work
Park City, Heber, Midway, Salt Lake County, Summit County, Wasatch County, and select projects across the Wasatch Front. Access and haul routes are different on either side of the divide — different terrain, different distances, different constraints — and the logistics change with it.
The studio is built for one region, and the crews know its roads intimately.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer trucking and hauling on its own?
Our trucking primarily serves Prime builds, where it’s coordinated with the design and the crews. Depending on the scope and the property, we may take on standalone hauling or material delivery — talk to us about what you need.
Why does in-house trucking matter to my project?
Because it removes the most common hidden delay in a build. When the trucks are ours, material arrives the day the crew is ready and debris leaves immediately — no idle crews waiting on an outside hauler, and no markup on someone else’s schedule.
Can you haul material from your own nursery?
Yes. Our on-site nursery means plants and many materials are sourced and moved in-house, from our yard to your property, without relying on outside suppliers and their timelines.
Do you haul away debris and excavated material?
Yes. Excavated soil, demolition debris, and green waste are hauled off with our own trucks as they’re generated, so the site stays clear and workable throughout the build.
How do you manage trucking on hard-to-access mountain properties?
By planning it from the design. We scope what the site can take, stage material to arrive in sequence, and size loads and timing to the access. Tight mountain sites are exactly where owning the trucks and knowing the routes pays off.
